My Work Station
How I enjoy working every day with a few highly recommended products.

As a Product Designer I spend tons of hours on my desk designing, drawing, coding, editing photos or videos and reading. So I've put together a desk setup that allows me to be the most productive and efficient. And I thought this was a good topic for my first blog post.
Below is a list of products I use and the links to find them if interested.
The Desk

Please disregard the PC tower on the floor next to my battery backup, it's currently not operational and under contruction.
CubeSpace Adjustable Desk: 48" x 30" - Large enough for dual montiors and resting elbows but small enough to drive away accumulating clutter. The build quality is a 9/10 with a powerful motor, steel legs and durable components.
It didn't provide any cable management system so I bought a simple third party cord carraige.
Whats On My Desk

- 14" MacBook Pro: Sleek, minimal and gets the job done.
- Rain Design mStand: I like this stand because I can run in clamshell mode while storing my headphones underneath it.
- 27" iMac: My iMac is an older retina 5K but I absolutley love that I can run each computer with a single mouse and keyboard as seemless as dual monitors. Highly efficient.
- Twelve South HiRise Pro: I love how it sits the monitor high with a ton of storage below. One of my favorite pieces.
- X Trac XXL Mouse Pad: I'm a fan of a large surface area. With this huge pad I don't have to pick up my mouse as often and the clean surface reminds me to not eat at my desk.
- Logitech MX Master 3S Mouse: My background with computers comes from playing early PC games like Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake and Unreal Tournament. The speed and precision of the MX Master is in a class of it's own. In my opion the only faster mouse is a wired DeathAdder from Razer.
- Xiaomi LED Desk Lamp: If I want to get something done I have to write it down on paper, not in my phone where I'll forget it. This LED Lamp has a great brightness in blue and warm light with a 0-100 dimmer. It's thin and nearly invisible but there when I need it.
- Time Timer: It's my beleif that hours of intense focus require a short reprieve now and again. Time blocking my work in one hour increments reduces stress and burnout while promoting iterational thinking.
My Must Haves

- Bose Quiet Comfort Headphones: Perfect pair for noise cancellation and finding your flow. Warning: The white is hard to keep clean. I'd also recommend the Sony XM4s as well. However, if you're rich I'd purchase the Apple Airpods Max.
- Sabrent SSD: 512gb is the perfect amount for on the go, to and from work, at lunch or at a conferrence. It comes in very handy.
- LaCie Rugged 5TB External HDD: I keep my life on this, mostly photos. When I pair this with the Eagle Photo App and it's a life hack for photo management. I love it sooo much; I give it 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm old school with notes, however I do enjoy the finest tools available.
- MUJI Gel Ink Ball Point Pen 0.5mm: After purchasing these Japanese pens you'll never buy another pen again, trust me! Smooooth like butta.
- AHGXG Dotted Journals Spiral Notebook: These dotted notebooks lay completely flat on any page. Perfect for writing and drawing and equiped with a perforated inner edge for easy removal, but not too easy. I slide the MUJI pen conveniently down the spine for the complete package. These notebooks come in a 3-pack.
The Throne
Bad backs run in my family, as a result I'm extremely particular about the chair I sit in all day. It's not uncommon for me to pinch a disc in my lower while outside or doing something physical. When it happens I sit in this chair for five minutes or so and I'm good to go, good as new.
It's craddles you in the proper seating position, the only pressure point is your own weight underneath your buttox. The lower support bar is in a class of its own, and fully adjustable to how tight or loose your prefer.
If you suffer from lower back pain this chair maybe your answer. It's expensive but worth every penny.

- X1 FLex Mesh Office Chair: I bought two for when I'm at the office or at home, if you suffer from back pain you'll understand.
Conclusion
I like to keep my home setup simple and distraction free so I can stay focused. Hopefully you’ve found something cool to add to your own desk too. I’m still tweaking my space, so if you’ve got any fun ideas or suggestions to make it feel more personal, I’m all ears.
