Punch is a mobile application that streamlines the job site walkthrough process, built for Western States Construction Co. to eliminate friction from the documentation process. Designed for iOS it allows field supervisors to capture and log job site deficiencies hands free in real time. By replacing slow manual typing with an intelligent, voice driven pipeline and instant haptic feedback, Punch turns chaotic site walkthroughs into a structured, legally sound digital ledger in real time.
OBJECTIVES:
Speed
-- Capture a single punch item under 5 seconds.
-- Use voice dictation to bypasses native keyboard typing completely.
Location
-- Voice Dictation: Detects physical location shifts from natural speech prefixes.
-- Subsequent entries inherit the last spoken location until a new one is mentioned.
Reporting
-- Formats reports into clean, 2-column item grid cards with physical checkboxes.
-- A review and sign off sheet requiring a digital single.
